Hello Friends!
My name is Missy. I am the owner of Missy’s Traveling Craftery, LLC (Est. 2018). I am an avid crafter and absolutely love diving into new and exciting projects. I can’t remember exactly when I fell in love with creating but I do know that I was heavily influenced by my crafty mom my entire childhood.
As an adult, I have used art as an escape from the stresses of everyday life. It provides relaxation and a space for reflection. I have used it to bond with old friends and connect with new friends. I get excited about new ideas I have for current projects and when I am introduced to new crafts. That’s why the Shopify store will always be full of finished products.
I have been inspired to create through many people, mediums, and events over the years. I have sewn stuffed animals and adult onesies. I have also crocheted (and used a knitting hoop!) hats, scarves, and blankets. I have spent countless hours working on delicate beaded jewelry. I like to tie dye t-shirts and use indigo dye to create beautiful scarves and napkins when the weather is nice. My only limitations are physical ability and space. I love learning new tricks and enjoy passing on any knowledge to anyone who asks.
Overall, I am just a lady who likes to ‘art.’
