Multimedia Art primarily describes an art technique that uses more than one medium; meaning it’s not just painting, photography, mosaic, clay, etc. but uses at least two or more types of mediums.
This category is so broad that Craft Party Ideas are endless! I would love to discuss different types of mediums and see how we could create a party or a party within a party. This type of project would also make a great use of Craft Mentoring. Let me know if you have ideas or questions about setting up your own party!
The below gallery is art I made to reminisce about a vacation that I took. I used objects (rocks, pine cones, and shells) from three different areas I visited; photographs of the same areas (I actually double layered the same photos with different cut outs); and mosaic tile grout. I am pleased with the results and think they are great examples of multimedia Art.
